I can safely say now that I have left Deivant Art and it's been an increasingly long and tedious process. It is extremely annoying that Deviant Art does not have a function to delete galleries or journals in one go, nor the capability to simple delete an account. They say themselves they do not want you to leave. However its not for nice reasons, its because they like having the numbers to say 'look how many memebers we have'. They like you keeping your art on devART because to many degrees it belongs to them while it's hosted here. They like to purposely make it difficult to leave.

I have a lot of reasons for wanting to leave, varying from no longer needing a public gallery, having my own space for my art, and then just the community in general, however I cannot say I'm overly fond of the administration here either.

The only deviations I will leave here are ones related to dA, ie ones related to my friends who still have active devART accounts here. Everything else is being/has been removed. All of my journals will be left behind but only because I'm not overly bothered to removed them as any links to art I've deleted will be useless and this entry is all that matters to the front of my account.

Goodbye to friends on devART.

I don't care how much you like dA, I don't care about how you think things should be done and I don't care what you think of me, especially those of you that don't know me any more than you know the stranger you passed on the street last week.
